Amy Winehouse Affair and Divorce Fairy Tale

Amy Winehouse’s jailbird husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has asked his lawyer to start the divorce proceedings against her on the grounds of adultery after seeing pictures of his wife with another man while on vacation.
“I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy’s adultery,” Henri Brandman told People Magazine.
The “Rehab” singer is currently vacationing in the Caribbean with Josh Bowman, a 21 year old former Rugby player. Winehouse told a local newspaper on Sunday that she has finally kicked her habit of drugs. While staying at Le Sport, a luxury resort in St Lucia, Amy told the newspaper how pictures of her at the height of her drug addiction had horrified her.
“My skin was a spotty mess and I was so pale and skinny. I thought to myself, ‘Girl, you got to sort yourself out or you’ll be dead soon. I was depressed, doing drugs and had no life in me at all. Coming here has changed everything.”
She also said that she had “forgotten I’m even married”, stating that their whole marriage was based on doing drugs. Says Winehouse of Bowman:
“He couldn’t be more different from my husband, which isn’t a bad thing. I’m just here on my own, happy and having a good time with Josh. I’ll deal with Blake when I get back. But our whole marriage was based on doing drugs.”
Amy and Blake were married in May 2007 in a surprise quicky ceremony in the Miami-Dade area of Florida. The couple has had their share fair of problems. Both have been arrested on drug charges, both together and separately. Not too long after their marriage, Fielder-Civil was arrested and charged with assault and trial fixing. He has spent the majority of their marriage in jail. Amy has also been filmed smoking a crack pipe, and also has been in and out of the hospital for what her representatives described as allergic reactions to prescription drugs. Fielder-Civil is currently back behind bars in England after failing a drug test in December.
