Golden Globes 2009 Full Nominee List

The 2009 Golden Globe Nominations are in. Brooke Shields, Terrance Howard, Rain Wilson and Elizabeth Banks all announced the nominees this morning.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Doubt” garnered several nominations in varying categories. Brad Pitt received a nod for his role in Button for Best Actor and hopes his film will take home the Best Motion Picture award. Meryl Streep is up for Best Actress in a Drama, but “Mamma Mia!” will hopefully win in Best Motion Picture in the Comdey genre. She will be up against Pitt’s lady love, as Angelina Jolie was also nominated for Best Actress in a Drama.

As predicted, Heath Ledger won the only “Dark Knight” related nomination. Heath is up for Best Supporting Actor. His performance is anticipated to not only win the Globe, but earn an Oscar as well.
