Reba McEntire Headed Back to Broadway

By Allie | November 19, 2008

Reba McEntire, who scored a major success when she succeeded Bernadette Peters in Peters’ Tony-winning role in the revival of Annie Get Your Gun, may be headed back to Broadway.

The New York Post reports that the Roundabout Theatre Company may produce a revival of Anything Goes for the country star next season. McEntire would play nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, the role created by the late Ethel Merman and later played to much acclaim by Tony Award winner Patti LuPone.”

Love Reba McEntire, the woman can do no wrong as far as I am concerned.
