Chris Martin Drunk During AMA’s - Video
By Cara | November 24, 2008
Now, I am not a Coldplay fan. Basically because I am not the type to sing sad songs while crying in the shower. They aren’t bad really, but last night’s performance at the 2008 American Music Awards is raising some eyebrows. Chris Martin was said to be drunk.
Finger pointing began at the lead singer’s “questionable behavior” while performing . He missed several notes and danced around the stage like a gypsy with a squirrel in his pants. (Note: In my experience, this is how most white boys dance.) Most are saying that he was drunk during the awards and that is the reason for his terrible performance. Fans that were in the audience claim he was complexly sloshed and a mess on and off stage.
Remember people this guy is married to Gwyneth Paltrow. I’d have nothing but vodka running through my veins too. But to be trashed at the AMA’s and waving your arms around….only Bono can get away with that.

If you have ever been to a Coldplay concert, you would know that this is how Chris always acts! I think it’s great that he gets into his music and doesn’t stand around like other bands!!!!
And if you watched the performance on the AMAs, you would notice how Chris could barely see the keys on the keyboard.

While the performance was a bit shakey, I have seen them live twice, in 2005 and just this October. Chris goes non stop being a musician I can tell he really feels his music.
