Wired Music: LL Leaves Janet Behind

Janet Jackson’s “Rock Witchu” world tour suffered another blow: the show’s opener, LL Cool J, announced he would not continue with the tour. The legendary rapper’s rep blamed “scheduling conflicts” for the sudden move.

In LL’s defense, he’s spent most of the tour waiting around for Janet. Vertigo-induced migraines forced Janet to cancel a string of shows in the US, including a show at NYC’s Madison Square Garden. That show was rescheduled for November 1, but no word yet who will take LL’s place in the opening slot.
