Miley Cyrus is rumored to have had her belly button pierced with a blue barbell.
Miley was pictured at her Sweet 16th birthday celebration at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. What do you think, pierced or not?
New rumored boyfriend, country crooner Justin Gaston also performed. I swear that kid reminds me of Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.
The 20-year-old former Nashville Star contestant played guitar and sang “Achy Breaky Heart” with Miley’s dad, Billy Ray and her older sister Brandi.

i know little grls look up to miley and they think that they should act they way to but nobodys perfect all the time everybody makes mistakes some times but i know its a big deal wit hes cuz shes famous and were not but some day we might be famous just like and guess wat we will end up doing things just like her and there r rumors goin around bout her that cuz ppl dont have anythang better else to do but guess wat life is though and its always goin be that way so just give her a break like every one else is k cuz im a huge fan of miley so dont make fun of her plz cuz this might happen to you to so leave her alone plz !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its not that its wrong to get piercings (in my opinion) its the fact that shes a disney star and thousands of little girls look up to her and when shes a whore it makes her naive little fans want to be whores. when she gets a piercing they want it too. so whoever is thinking it has something to do with her age…sorry but you’re wrong thats not really where most of the controversy is coming from…

you dont have to tell your little ones and if they ask say no she doesnt if you dont want your kids to see that. who cares its her body not yours or your little one i have mine done and im 15 i got it done at 14 and you know what i have my tongue pierced too, no one cares leave the girl alone. she has to grow up in the media and thats bad enough!!!

Oh my goodness! What is WRONG with you people?! Do ya’ll have ANY idea what a belly button piercing can do? Infections. Bacteria. And all sorts of other things. Plus it looks trashy. And WHAT is up with THIRTEEN YEAR OLDS getting tattoos and bellybutton piercings!?!?!? Ya’ll are sick.

ok..um first of all she’s 16 whats wrong with having a belly button ring? I know people who got their belly button done when they were like 12 and 13. (Not a big deal!!)
Second of all how is she setting a bad example?? Lots of people have pearsings and tattoos…its a personal decision. (As long as it isnt anything rude or stupid then its ok.)
and thirdly at least she can pull it off! So many girls have them done and its pointless cuz they dont have the body for it (Im not trying to put people down) I mean like I wouldnt even get one..and Im not fat ( I just dont feel comfortable and I cant stand that kind of pain)
anyways its her life and her body and she can do what she wants with it.

Personally, i don’t have experience from getting my belly or nose pierced, but im 16 and i understand that miley is a teen as well. People should just give her a break because how would you feel?
yea sure now cause ur not famous u say omg that would be soo cool but when media shows up at your house every minute of the day, you woulnd’t be soo thrilled. Miley needs space and just because shes famous that doesn’t mean she needs to be watched every step of the way and honestly on Hannah MOntana she does serve as a rolemodel but why should she have to in real life? she doesnt owe anyone anything !!!! Personally i dont see what the big deal is. I got mine done when i was 13, its not a big deal, i mean hell she is 16, and to tell you the truth she could be doing alot of things that is worrys this getting her belly button done and her nose i have that done too. and you cant even see it most the time.so its not like a omg thing. she little kids look up to her but they also prolly know that they cant get it done till they are older. so give the girl a damn break

Okay,Miley Has become older which means she shes trying to be an adult and act like one. She gets the piercing so she gets more noticed and popular.
She take non-mature picstures of her self,and with other people and the moves she does at concerts is not a very good role model. i personally think she has taken it way! to far and if she thinks shes a nice rols model she better think twice,Miley is becoming a s l * t!

“she is setting a bad example for kids” piercings are not harmful, there are countless celebs who binge drink, take drugs, commit criminal offences, really- a nose piercing is nothing in the bigger picture- people have been doing it for centuries, you could say it is a right of passage, and we should encourage people to have their own say about their own bodies, whether this means getting pierced or not. P.s Talk about setting an example for kids- calling a woman a “sl*t” and “trashy”- how about teaching kids acceptance and respect for women regardless of their personal choices about their bodies.
