Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie are set to announce the ending of their marriage again. It was rumored again early today. According to the front page story on Britain’s ‘The Sun’ newspaper claim an announcement is ‘Imminent’.

“Despite huge attempts to patch things up they both knew deep down that divorce was on the cards,” the inside source said. “It wasn’t a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when.’”

The death of their almost 8 year marriage has been “imminent’ for quite awhile now. The rep for the couple declined to comment on the story. Surprise!

Madge 50 is still in the midst of her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour and will be in Boston tonight. Guy 40 is supposed to be on the set of his new film ‘Sherlock Holmes’. But the latest dirt says that he flew back home and will be packing to move out of the couple’s London home. What do you think? Is this it or will they patch things up? UPDATE (Allie): According to TMZ, Madonna’s rep has issued the following statement,

“Madonna and Guy Ritchie have agreed to divorce after seven-and-a-half years of marriage. They have both requested that the media maintain respect for their family at this difficult time,” says a statement given to the AP.
