Janet Jackson’s Mystery Illness: Migraines

By Karen | October 15, 2008

After all the hoopla and drama Janet Jackson had a headache. I know! When you or I get a headache we pop a couple of aspirins and keep going. This is the big ‘Mystery Illness” that cost millions of dollars to promoters and pissed off the fans. The 42 year old singer has vestibular migraines, a rare condition that can cause the sensation of vertigo. Ever notice that celeb’s never get a non-rare disease?

“[Janet is] a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect,” manager Kenneth Crear said in the statement. “She’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again.”

Now Jackson has received treatment she feels ready to get back on stage. When I see it then I will believe it. Jackson is scheduled to start her ‘Rock Witchu’ tour tonight at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.

Jackson’s Thursday concert has been rescheduled for Nov. 1st. New dates for her other postponed concerts are still being hammered out and will be announced soon. I think her Mohawk is too tight.
