Fall TV Shows Canceled
….Or soon to be canceled. Now that it’s fall tv has returned with fresh episodes and we are no longer punished with reruns. But if you are a fan of the following tv shows…well…it’s not looking good.
Jerry O’Connell’s return to tv has failed. “Do Not Disturb” has been axed. Meanwhile Ashton Kutcher’s attempt at game show glory barely made a blip in ratings. “Opportunity Knocks” is out after just 3 episodes.
“Pushing Daises” is struggling to keep afloat. Ratings for the show based on Ned the pie maker are taking a weekly dive. Viewership has plunged since last year. CW’s Greek gods based show, “Valentine” obviously didn’t have a chance. Production has stopped on the show, but rumor is that all 13 episodes will air. For now.
Finally, “Easy Money” has also put a halt to production. The reasoning behind the halt? The writers need time to “catch up.” Whatever that means. The show based on a dysfunctional family of loan sharks opened with positive reviews and Laurie Metcalf stars in the comedy. I love her. Come on….Jackie from “Roseanne.” What’s not to love?
Others rumored to be on the chopping block are:
“Hole in the Wall” – Obese people and midgets try and squeeze themselves into odd shapes to make it through a moving wall.
“Dirty Sexy Money” – The Darling uber-rich socialites have fallen from what was mixture of comedy and drama to soap opera schtick. They threw Lucy Liu in there and ruined the show. She is like the jinx of tv shows.
“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” – Cyborgs just aren’t fun without Arnold.
“Lipstick Jungle” – Sex and the City 8.0 is bombing. It’s like hot dogs instead of steak.

That’s a shame about Pushing Daisies, as it is by far my favorite show right now. Also, FOX ordered a full season from Terminator, so that’s safe for this year.
