Britney Spears Permanent Conservatorship

By Karen | October 29, 2008

Jamie Spears has gotten permanent co-conservatorship along with attorney Andrew Wallet of Britney Spears affairs. A Los Angeles court awarded the two control of Brit’s business affairs and career opportunities. This sounds like a good thing to me.

The court said, “The Conservatorship is necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence.”

Brit’s court appointed lawyer Samuel Ingham has had several meetings with the singer and Brit did not object to her father being named her conservator. This should give Brit greater access to her boys, as the court considers the conservatorship a safety net.

This does not have to last forever. It will remain intact until Spears is ready to take back control of her life. In is in fact an easy way to keep from having to renew the temporary status over and over again. Whatever works it is just great that Britney knows that she is not yet ready take control of her life yet. What do you think is daddy Spears milking this for all it’s worth or does Britney need the extra control?
