Britney Spears is in trouble yet again. Brit is prepared to go to trial in her driving without a license case. She rejected a plea offer of a year’s probation and a $150 fine according to her lawyer.

Cheetos feels she is being targeted because she is a celebrity and does not deserve even the minor criminal conviction on her record. She wants to consider a lesser infraction for her October 15th trial. Spear’s efforts to dismiss the misdemeanor charge and put the case “on hold” were rejected.

This all stems from an August 2007 fender bender for driving without a license charge. The hit and run charge was dismissed after Brit paid off the other driver for damages. At the time she had a Louisiana license and has now gotten her California drivers license.

Now if that was you or me we would be thrilled to get off with the $150 slap on the wrist. That is if you don’t work your magic and brush your license against the cops nobby as you hand it to him. But if you get a chick…you’re screwed.
