Britney Spears Documentary Preview-Video

By Cara | October 10, 2008

“What the Hell was I thinking?” That sums up Britney’s reflection on the past two years of her life. (Her words, not mine.)

Britney Spears has teamed up with MTV and filmed a 90 minute documentary. The current title of the project is “For the Record” and digs for Britney’s view on the breakdown that landed her in the center of speculation. From the divorce that launched her into her fall, to the intervention that is helping her rise back to her super star status, the film features behind the scenes footage and interviews with Spears. Three months of filming peek into her life has been captured on video.

“So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know.” said Britney “I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”

No question seems to be off limits. When asked about her slip into her breakdown she admitted she is not sure what went wrong.

“I sit there and I look back,” she says, before asking rhetorically: “I’m a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?”

“For the Record” will air on November 30th at 10 p.m. on MTV.
