Lauren Conrad’s Emmy Dress VS. Christian Siriano’s Heidi Klum Dress

Heidi Klum wore a gown straight from Christian Siriano’s Spring 2009 line. A mixture of grey, yellow and light blue hues made Heidi’s stage gown. Lauren Conrad wore a navy blue creation with a brooch highlighting the look.

In my opinion….Lauren’s dress is BORING. It looks nice and safe. Nothing straying from the typical. It kinda looks like a mother-of-the-bride gown. At it is missing is a jacket complete with shoulder pads.

Insert Tim Gunn using a big word for dull here.

I do like them both, but seriously I would wear Laurens Dress. Its classic yet pretty. Christians is nice too but to look at…not wear. But thats just what I think.

Being Fashion forward, Christian Siriano’s dress is more innovative and creative plus gorgeous. Although Lauren’s dress is beautiful as well, it has been something we have seen her in at the teen choice etc. just different colors. I wish Lauren would have step it up just a bit and came out of her comfort zone. But I Love Lauren, don’t get me wrong. :)

I love Lauren Conrad’s dress. I just read that Mark cosmetics and hautelook.com are giving away two front row tickets to her next fashion show on Oct 14th!! Plus she will dress you in one of her outfits that you get to keep! Do you think they will be filming it for the show?

the dark blue color lauren is wearing is a pretty color. so I can see why she was drawn to it. doesn’t she usually wear light colors?

the christian siriano dress heidi is wearing is much more interesting. I wish I had seen her on tv wearing this so I could see how it moves. I have always liked that odd color he uses near the top and it is interesting the way he uses it.
