The MTV Video Music Awards are this weekend and the performance list is growing by the minute. Christina Aguilera and the Jonas Brothers have recently joined the lineup. Britney Spears will once again open the VMA’s. She is NOT set to sing, dance or lip synch. What she will do is still up for debate.

“She’s not performing, but she’s certainly doing [the show] in a professional capacity. She will be … doing something so mind-bending, it’ll probably make you want to start families with each other in a random, possibly Mormon, way,” the show’s host, English comedian Russell Brand, joked during a press preview at the Paramount Pictures lot where the ceremony will be held.”

Kanye West has also decided to break his promise to never again participate in the VMA’s. The lying bastard will close the show and by then everyone will have slipped out the back door for mojitos and a burger. If you recall last year the little princess didn’t get a big enough stage and blamed Britney’s half assed performance on stealing the show.

Katy Perry will also be in attendance. She will covering Madonna’s “Like a Virgin.” Meanwhile, Rihanna and Kid Rock will be singing. Kid will be doing “All Summer Long.”

So Brit’s doing something in a “professional capacity” while Kanye comes down from his mountain top. I am guessing this means she will be giving out a handy while West bounces around the stage like some pixie that runs on ego.
