Ellen DeGeneres New Face of Cover Girl

New husband..er…bride Ellen DeGeneres is now the new face of Cover Girl. How cool is that? Host of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ will follow in the footsteps of Rihanna and Drew Barrymore. The 50 year old is rumored to have signed a six figure deal with the giant make-up firm.
“You know how I always like to share what’s going on in my life with you all, and I was going to give you some news and, unfortunately, rumors started circulating all over the Internet,” DeGeneres, informs her audience about the something new in her life that will take effect in January – and is bound to have her glowing. I am the new face of Cover Girl.”
An inside source reports that Ellen is busy shooting the campaign this week. The commercials are due to air after the first of the year. A photo of Ellen being made camera ready is below. Ellen’s comment of the shoot:
‘They’re putting some lip liner on me … Man, they love lip liner. I got hours and hours” Overall, DeGeneres admits, “I am very, very excited about it. It’s a very cool thing, I’m honored and the photo shoot was ‘easy, breezy, beautiful … Cover Girl.’ “
I think this is a great idea. I mean come on; getting Christie Brinkley to look great is not hard. But getting someone real like Ellen or me to look good now that’s a challenge. Way to go Ellen!
