DJ AM Attends Memorial For Other Crash Victim
Adam Goldstein AKA DJ AM showed up in a limousine to pay his respects to Chris ‘Lil Chris’ Baker 29. More than 300 people showed up at the Los Angeles memorial service. Baker’s life was lost in the horrible Learjet crash that killed 3 other people and badly wounded two on September 20th in South Carolina.
Baker was Travis Barker’s personal assistant and close friend Barker was also injured in the crash. Barker was released from the hospital Monday and is on a bus headed back to Los Angeles. Barker suffered second and third degree burns in the crash to his feet and legs. Barker is not going to be able to walk for a while so was unable to attend. Baker left a wife Otillia and a 2 year old son Sebastian.
“He {Baker} was his right-hand man,” actor Simon Rex told PEOPLE after the tragedy. Travis felt so bad to have missed [the service],”
AM spent a week in a Georgia hospital and just released on Friday. With clearly visible burn injuries AM bravely left his LA home to attend the memorial wearing a green polo. Baker’s wife asked everyone to gear green her husband’s favorite color to honor his memory.
It was great to see AM on his feet and looking so strong. The burns on his arms and head he seems to be dealing with amazingly. To take the time to go to a friend’s memorial service after such a long time in the hospital is wonderful. I must say I am impressed.
