David Archuleta Video Debut

David Archuleta has finally debuted his first video. ‘Crush‘ is expected to wet the teenage palate and I am sure the Jonas Brothers aren’t exactly sweating it. Is it just me or is it kinda creepy. Like having your 12 year old paper boy show his undying love for you.
Eh, this kid has talent, but I am just not buying any attempts and being a heart throb. Then again my tastes run in the hairy beast category….mmmmm…..Jake Gyllenhaal.
Hell yes I cropped out Reese Witherspoon. Love her, but not in that way.

The video is great, David Archuleta IS GORGEOUS and mega talented, and he is and will always be adored by millions. Is he just too nice for you or are you jealous. i know we’re all entitled to an opinion, but your opinion AND your attitude suck.

This video is the perfect complement to the song. It appeals to both David’s younger fans, as well as those not in the teen or tween set This young man is the total package - great voice, great personality, great looks and an ability to channel his emotions into performances of such high intensity they leave you astounded. Keep dreaming big, David Archuleta.. you’ve got your foot in the door, and this video will open it up to a much wider audience than you could ever have imagined. Your fans are proud of you, and are behind you all the way.

I love the video, it has lyrics anyone can relate to at any age and it has a fun medley. The video’s interpretation of the song Crush was well thought off. Loved it!!!
FYI: HE IS A HEART THROB, JUST VISIT YOU TUBE AND YOU WILL SEE GIRLS AND WOMEN LINING UP TO SEE THIS GUY.

For a 17 year-old just starting a career - the video is WHOLESOME, something I can let my grandchildren watch. It is totally him: nothing pretentious. I guess you haven’t had crushes or NO ONE has ever had a crush on you!

Are you kidding me? There is nothing at all CREEPY about this video. It’s about teenage crush and it is very classy and well acted. David is Gorgeous and I know thousands of fans that have a crush on him. JB are cute.. but David Archuleta has a beautiful voice AND a beautiful face and personality. He WILL go far in this buisiness! I think YOU’re creepy.

David is only 17 years old. What type video would you want him to make???? One where he is running his hand up a girl’s skirt and grabbing hisself. OMG, lady get real! This kid is so talented and the acting and everything is perfection in this video. It is amazing. I am an older fan and I have felt what he has protrayed in this video when I was younger. I could relate and so can a million other people. I thought it was one of the sweetest, most sincere, and well-made videos I have see.

OK…here we go…just another “critic” trying to be tough. Why is it when something is done in taste, it gets put down by the likes of some “wanna be”. Just because he’s not your type doesn’t mean he’s not adored by millions of others, and yes he is a certified “heart throb”. Go to YouTube and watch the crowds of screaming girls just begging for a hug. Do you think that, because you lean towards hairy, sweaty guys who look like they haven’t bathed in a month, this gives you the right to refer to this beautiful (first time out) video as “creepy”…there’s absolutely nothing creepy about it…it’s well done and relatable…not sure you quite “get it”. I always think to myself, after reading a review of this nature, why can’t these people just be realistic and unbiased…isn’t that a sign of a real, honest to goodness, professional “critic” trying to do a good job?

Are you for real, I think he has a few million hearts throbbing for him. The song and the video are refreshing and wonderful. Really I am disgusted with reviews that show such bias.

He falls in love with his best friend. They happens to almost every teenager, so they’re completely able to relate to it. You’ve obviously been wired your entire life if you’ve never experienced a crush like that. If so, put down the gossip magazine and head out into the real world. David Archuleta is splendid. The end.

This video is beautiful and wholesome just like David. For once we get a real breath of fresh air that’s not wasted by a bunch of teenagers engaging in sexually contents. David has class and this video represence David. You could learn a thing or two from him.

I loved this video and think that David did a magnificent job in his very first video. It was so refreshing and very believable to watch the Crush develop in this video. Finally the music industry is listening to the public outcry for some music that we can allow our children and grandchildren to watch!!!! Kudos to David, all the young cast of friends, and to his special Crush!!! Thank you Jive for taking the time to do such a wholesome, tasteful video of this wonderful song!!!!!

IMO, Crush video is just appropriate for the song and for the target viewers which mainly are teens…it’s wholesome and very relatable.

I’ve never, EVER been a fan of anyone in my life, and I am crazy about this guy with the exquisite, soaring voice! He sings with SO much feeling, it’s like being gut punched when I listen to several of his songs. Very moving.
Plus, he has a rare musicality in that every time he sings a song, he rearranges it on the fly so it’s a little different every time. Like a hot jazz singer, only he sings pop songs. Also, he’s as sweet and endearing and gorgeous a human being as God ever made.
I’ve travelled 7,200+ miles to see him sing three times. Not enough but I can’t afford another flight to the east coast so I’ll have to wait until he tours on his own. You’re in for a BIG surprise if you think this one is run-of-the-mill. He’s gonna be HUGE, trust me on this!

I think it would be “creepy” if David Archuleta pretended to be something he is not. Is it an innocent, wholesome video - yes. This is exactly where David Archuleta is in his life right now - his video is just portraying what a first crush is like. I think it’s spot on….if you think it’s creepy, then I guess my first crush was creepy too. Sorry Michael Collee (my first crush) - I think we’ve just been insulted.

I think you have a very strange way of looking at things … there is NOTHING creepy about this vid at all … it vividly and sweetly portrays what EVERY teen and pre-teen has gone through. Makes me wonder if you have a heart at all?!

I dont care for the song, Crush, I think the video is okay.
I think David has a wonderful singing voice, but Crush is way overrated and the video is okay.

Crush is a fantastic song and the video depicts the story of the song very well. When I watch the video, I am reminded of those wonderful feelings I’ve experienced when I’ve had a crush. The song is very relatable, and the video is gorgeous, but certainly not creepy! I’ve watched the video many times already and I continue to love it! I will be purchasing the video from iTunes when made available! Congratulations David! So proud of you!

This brought back my memories of those crush days when a glance was such a thrill. This is so tastefully done. What I find so refreshing is the quest of so many young people for the innocence of young love that the media is so bent on twisting out of shape. The people who love grunge keep spewing it in the faces of people who find it offensive. How lovely to finally have an alternative. Thank you Jive and David.

David Archuleta is 17 and not only sings well, but is a great actor. This suits him and the song perfectly. I think you’re creepy for having that view-but yes David would ha! ha! say that its unfortunate that that’s your view.

This video is a breath of fresh air and Archuleta seems adorable. I was not a fan of his on the show but seeing him in concert has changed my mind. His voice is fantastic and this video takes me back to my first crush. Well done David. Stay true to yourself and fans will always support you regardless what these reviews say!

David Archuleta has a beautiful voice, great personality, and fantastic smile. The video was very refreshing. Reminded me of past crushes and innocence. Bravo!!!!

This young man has the goods - he is a superior vocalist, has tons of natural charisma, and great musicianship. David commands your eye in this video, and your attention in every frame. In addition, he is that increasingly rare artist who delivers live. He’s on his way to great success, and his debut album in November will be on my must have’s for the fall.
