Anne Hathaway Talks Raffaello Follieri Arrest

When I grow up I want to be Anne Hathaway.
Gorgeous and down to earth, this saucy minx has been to the mountain top of man trouble and come back. She finally talks about the ordeal with “W” magazine. In case you’ve been living in a concentration camp that viciously denies you celebrity gossip access, here is the rundown. Anne’s longtime boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, had been scamming money and is now in jail. The Donald Trump stuck his comb-over wonder into the issue and stated that Anne was only into him because he was rich. The break up and arrest took place while she was doing press runs for “Get Smart.”
“It’s a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden,” she says. “But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me. One said, ‘Go stay at my house.’
And Steve Carell [her Get Smart costar] stepped up for me during an interview when someone asked a question [about it]. He said, ‘At some point you’re going to have to talk about this time in your life. You don’t have to do it this week. I’ll take care of anything that comes your way.’
Good for her. It also makes me like Steve Carell even more. She remains tight lipped on the what she knew about the arrest and the details of his arrest, smart girl. I hope she keeps it that way.
Friends are fantastic support and the good ones are there for you no matter how sticky the situation. Like…feeding the annoying neighbor dog Chocolate Cup Cakes laced with Draino or being so understanding when your kid is the “one who likes naked time” or when you drink too much and make an ass of yourself at an innocent gathering for friend who drove from across the state to see you which ends in you hiding in the pantry eating Snack Paks. (This may or may not have happened…it is all just off the top of my head really.)
What would we do without our friends…..even if they find Matthew McConaughey hot.
