Alicia Keys: I am Not a Home Wrecker!
By Karen | September 16, 2008
Grammy Award winning producer and hip-hop artist Swizz Beatz says singer Alicia keys did not breakup his marriage. Over the last few months rumor has it that Keys and Swizz are secretly dating. They were even spotted having lunch in Los Angeles and getting real cozy ever where else. This lunch is one of the rumored reasons Beatz and his wife Mashonda are divorcing. Last week Keys allegedly threw a surprise birthday party for Swizz at the Louis Vuitton store, where guest were Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony among others. Gee, if someone did that for my husband it would make me wonder too.
“I can no longer ignore the harmful rumors, that my friend Alicia Keys is in any way linked to my marital circumstances or to the decision that [my wife] Mashonda and I have made to separate,” Beatz. I am disappointed that some have chosen to try and tarnish Alicia’s reputation by irresponsibly implicating her in a situation that she has absolutely nothing to do with,” Beatz, a father of two, says.
“This experience has been one of the most difficult times in my life, and as was stated when we announced our separation several months ago, I ask that you continue to respect my privacy in dealing with this personal matter,” Beatz says.
Alicia Keys [real name Alicia Cook] could be named as ‘the other woman’ in the divorce papers. Word that Swizz and Mashonda were separating came last April in a statement from the couple’s rep. A friend of Mashonda argues that it was Swizz’s idea. Mashonda thought they were getting back together. I’ll bet that’s not what he is telling Alicia.
The soon to be ex-couple is also said to have some serious cash issues. It is reported that there is an $800K lien out for back taxes. Ouch! Do you think Swizz is looking for a little monetary help with that lien? Just be careful Alicia, once a dog always a dog.

he will leave you or cheat on you as well. Even Halle Berry got cheated on, no one is exempt.
What Goes around COmes ARound Alicia needs to listen to her own Lyrics. Being involved with a married man is not typically considered an honorable act.

I hated when people single out one person and It takes two to commit adultery. Their both were in the wrong POINT BLANK.

Yes it takes two, but I feel that one of you should know better or be the stronger person to say no. No matter how you are feeling at that moment. We are in contrl of our own feelings…

things like this happen every day, only its more wrong as there in the public eye, who gives a shit? just because someone is married and have children together doesnt mean there happy, they may not have been happy for years how do we know what there really like as a couple, they publish a family photo with there 2 kids and we feel sorry for them? i think it is wrong to judge, his wife could be a bitch for all we know and he wants to be happy.

how the hell do we know what really happened? your judging somebody on what you see and hear not on facts, i dont know what happened but i know that things like this happen everyday, just appears worse for those in the public eye, how do we know Beatz is happily maaried, his wife could be a total bitch, he may want to find happiness and finds alica keys a best friend. You see a photo of a the couple with there 2kids and we instantly feel sorry for his wife and his kids, not knowing what really happens behind closed doors!!i am sure he will still be there for kids thats what truely matters

swiss is the only one wrong, swiss shouldn’t ever got married, if he wasn’t sure about his wife(as far as always being happy). that’s what’s wrong with people these days, marriage is no longer held by its definition, its but a word to most. don’t get married if yur not truely in love with someone, meaning u want to spend yur life with that one person, till yur las breath

For the lips of an adulteress drip honey,
and her speech is smoother than oil;
4 but in the end she is bitter as gall,
sharp as a double-edged sword.
5 Her feet go down to death;
her steps lead straight to the grave. [a]
6 She gives no thought to the way of life;
her paths are crooked, but she knows it not.
7 Now then, my sons, listen to me;
do not turn aside from what I say.
8 Keep to a path far from her,
do not go near the door of her house,
9 lest you give your best strength to others
and your years to one who is cruel,
10 lest strangers feast on your wealth
and your toil enrich another man’s house.
11 At the end of your life you will groan,
when your flesh and body are spent.
12 You will say, “How I hated discipline!
How my heart spurned correction!
13 I would not obey my teachers
or listen to my instructors.
14 I have come to the brink of utter ruin
in the midst of the whole assembly.”
15 Drink water from your own cistern,
running water from your own well.
16 Should your springs overflow in the streets,
your streams of water in the public squares?
17 Let them be yours alone,
never to be shared with strangers.
18 May your fountain be blessed,
and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.
19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—
may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be captivated by her love.
20 Why be captivated, my son, by an adulteress?
Why embrace the bosom of another man’s wife?
21 For a man’s ways are in full view of the LORD,
and he examines all his paths.
22 The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him;
the cords of his sin hold him fast.
23 He will die for lack of discipline,
led astray by his own great folly.
