The Olsen twins plan of world domination continues. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have… brace yourself… written a book. There I said it and yes it is true. The 272 page hardcover book Influence is due out October 28. Who would believe they knew 272 pages worth of words! I am betting on a ton of pictures.

One of the more interesting features of this book is that there are two versions of this tome. Mary-Kate is on the cover, of one with Ashley on the back, while the other version swaps their positions.

“Ashley and Mary-Kate take readers on a journey through their celebrated young lives, pausing to reflect on what has helped shape them into who they are today,” the book’s publisher said in a statement. “They interviewed 20 people and wrote brief essays about each other. In each interview, the girls explore what inspired the interviewee.”

Some of those the twins interviewed are designers Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Von FurstenburgJohn Galliano and Christian Louboutin, as well as model-actress Lauren Hutton. Gotta admit that is pretty impressive. That is not even the top five.

“We interviewed the people who have inspired us, with the hope that they will inspire and teach others,” Mary-Kate said. “We want to explain culturally how ideas evolve.”

Ashley added: “We have filled Influence with the most interesting, challenging, creative people we know – the ones who helped pave the way for us and our generation.”

This book’s artwork has photos and drawings provided by the interviewed celebs. There are several never before seen photos of the 22 year old oddball twins from their private collection. Did anyone else besides me notice that the book will be out just in time for Halloween?
