Melanie Chisholm Confirms Pregnancy

It is a baby extravaganza. Have I been living in the deep south or something? Can you go and buy a fetus at Macy’s or are they giving them away in a Payless BOGO sale? Another celebrity is knocked up.
Melanie Chisholm confirmed her pregnancy. The Sporty Spice leg of the Spice Girls let the world know via her site this morning that she is indeed knocked up.
“Some happy news,” she wrote. “I can now announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy. As I’m sure you’ll understand, we needed time to wait for results and tell our families. I will need to take some time off to be a mum,” she wrote. “But, before you know it, we’ll be back.”
I thought she was the token lesbian of the group kinda like the male equivalent to NSYNC’s Lance Bass. But, my gaydar must be broken because Sporty has had a boyfriend for 6 years now.
