OK are they yanking our chain or what? Rumor is that Cher has been chosen to play Catwoman in the next Batman movie by director Christopher Nolan. I don’t know how drunk they were but I love it. Cher is fabulous and would give Batman an extra touch of class.

Our source said, “Cher is Nolan’s first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”

Nolan has also already cast Johnny Depp as The Riddler according to the latest rumors. How much do you love this casting? Shooting is supposed to start in Vancouver early next year, if the rumor is real. But my guess it that Maggie Gyllenhaal will rise from the ashes to be Catwoman. She is contracted for two films and being that they blew her character into a tiny bits in “The Dark Knight,” I am guessing she will somehow survive to be the feline.

I say dump Depp and throw in Elton John as The Riddler. Are you loving it? Then he can make Batman The Musical. Just think it will be the first gay Batman musical. I even have a name for it “Batman Comes Out of the Cave-Closet”. Hey rich old perv lives with a strange teenage boy named Robin. You do the math. You know there has gotta be role for Tom Cruise In there somewhere.
