Britney Spears Will NOT Perform at VMA’s
By Cara | August 25, 2008
Ryan Seacrest confirmed Britney Spears will NOT be performing at the 2008 MTV VMAs. He broke the news this morning with an email from Larry Rudolph stating her participation will be strictly be as a non-performing nominee. She is nominated for 3 awards of which one is for her “Piece of Me” video.
“Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I am telling you officially and unequivocally that BS will not be there,” Rudolph wrote in his email.
Rudolph also added that Britney “was in the middle of recording her next album” which is going amazingly well.”
Earlier this month Kim Vo, hairstylist currently responsible for Brit-Brit’s weave, had told E! that he is set to create three styles for Spears. According to him the styles were to be for the red carpet, the show itself and a performance. Apparently that is rubbish. Seacrest spoke with her manager and he called the report by E! and Vo “just wrong.”
Kim Vo just got his collagen injected face called out. Personally I am glad she won’t be up there dancing. Girl needs to keep her ass off stage until she is 100% back to her old self and wearing her thong on the outside of pants on purpose.
