Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on Child Support?!

Now we know why Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and the Jolie-Pitt crew of six {count them six} kids moved to France. According to French laws they are eligible for almost $2,600 a month in child benefits.

“We do not discuss individual benefits cases,” said a spokeswoman for the Brignoles council. “But [we] can confirm that all resident local families with young children are eligible for certain benefits.”

Just before Angie gave birth to the twins Knox and Vivienne the famous couple moved into the Chateau Miraval in the south of France.

Pitt went to the town hall in nearby Brignoles and registered the growing family. That makes them qualify for the generous parenting subsides in France. Everyone has access to these benefits regardless of their financial means.

There is the “nanny payment” of $975.84 a month and an “orphan allowance” of $508.97 for each adopted child. The Jolie-Pitts have three leaving the grand total $2,592.81 a month payable by check.

I am sure Angie is taking the change and donating it some African plight and her personal keep-me-looking-better-than-Aniston fund.
