Emmy award winner Christina Applegate has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. But this will not stop Christina from following through with having a family. Christina has always dreamed of becoming a mom and a little thing like breast cancer will not stop her.

“I’m at that age where, biologically, it calls me a lot,” Applegate said. “I don’t want to wait until I’m in my mid-40s.”

The Samantha Who? star is so determined to have a baby that she is postponing chemothearpy until she has conceived and delivered a baby. Christina is hoping to start her family with musician Martyn Lenoble, who she has been dating for several months. Only then will she start treatment.

“A baby is the most important thing in the world to Christina right now,” says a source. “She doesn’t want to expose her body to chemo or radiation until after she gives birth.”
