Yes! Praise the fashion Gods or whoever is in blessing us with the gift of Project Runway. The fifth season premiere is tonight! Huzza! My Tim Gunn withdrawal will finally be satisfied and Christian “Fierce” Siriano will be turn into that guy with the Jonas Brother’s hairdo. (Yes I do have a sick Tim Gun fetish.)

Slight SPOILER ALERT! If you wish to remain completely unaware what is to come STOP now. The season opener immediately starts with their first design. Challenge number 1 will be to design an outfit with raw materials from Gristedes supermarket. Sound familiar? This was the first challenge in the very first season of Project Runway.

I am relishing this last season of Project Runway on Bravo. Next year it will find a new home on Lifetime. It will leave the comfort and stigma of Parsons and move to Los Angeles. At least Tim Gunn will be on the same channel as the Golden Girls reruns. But, for now, I am excited that the new season is upon us. Even if icky Natalie Portman is a guest judge this year. They make up for it by letting LL Cool J come on and (hopefully) take his shirt off at one point.

My money is on Stella at this point. She looks like she’d cut a bitch for some chapstick and a soy burger.
