Estelle Getty Dies, Age 84

It is a sad, sad day and there should be a day or mourning. Estelle Getty has died at the age of 84 at 5:35 this morning. Estelle is best known for her role as Sofia on the best show ever, “Golden Girls.”
She had long suffered from Lewy Body Dementia. Her family and caregivers were by her side as she passed.
I am truly, truly sad for the loss of a great woman who shared with us both laughter and tears. I know we will all miss her smile dearly.
