My mother’s reactions to my inimitable sense of style ranges from ‘Oh… that looks … nice’ to ‘If you wear that, Jesus will cry, I’m warning you’. 

I’m guessing that, if I were to roll up to Sunday lunch wearing this crocheted bathing suit, my mother would probably be veering towards the latter assessment.
