Christina Aguilera Helps Macy’s Celebrate 150 Years of Retailing

By Allie | July 31, 2008

Christina Aguilera stunned onlookers as she posed for this incredible photograph.

US department store Macy’s, responsible for Little Brown Bag, is celebrating 150 years of retailing this October and Christina was among the celebrities marking the occasion with commemorative photographs.

Donald Trump, Tommy Hilfiger, Martha Stewart and Calvin Klein joined the Grammy winner in saying Happy Birthday to the department store.

Christina looked stunning in a large burgundy skirt with fern leaf and net detail, a cream bodice and tousled hair against a wall of roses.

The images are shot by renowned Rolling Stone photographer Mark Seliger.

just for further information, but macy’s is not responsible for the little brown bag, that would be bloomingdales. but bloomies is now owned by macy’s, so maybe that is where the cross reference lies.

Yeah, I did a double take on the little brown bag too. The two stores are not alike, nor is the cache of shopping at Bloomie’s the same as Macy’s.

That said, gorgeous photo, and I love that the outfit, the skirt is glorious.
