Just as millions were lining up every where to see “The Dark Knight” during it’s premiere weekend, Batman himself was arrested in London. Allegations of assault by his own mother and sister sent Christian Bale sent him to the clink. Everyone was remaining mum on what exactly happened until now. Sources have come forward to defend Hollywood’s reheated hot commodity.

Jenny Bale is also said to have made highly disparaging comments about the star’s glamorous wife of eight years, Sibi, 38, a former make-up artist and model.”

Currently Bale is on a press junket for the film. Being the center attention and sleep depravation made him a wee bit cranky and when his sister was trying score a trust fund for her kids, he went ham sandwich crazy.

Christian was stressed, but he didn’t lay a finger on anyone. Instead, he flew off the handle and cussed his mother. He just got very loud because his mother was saying some very outrageous things about him, and his wife.’

‘Christian’s attitude is that this was his mother’s fault because she became very provocative in an argument they were having,’ the source said, adding: ‘Things got out of control and he now says he wishes he just left the room.

‘Normally Christian would just call a friend and go out to a pub to cool off. But he was literally trapped into this confrontation with his mother and sister because there was an army of fans and paparazzi outside.’

‘He regrets the way she treated him in their argument a lot more than having to talk to police about it. Christian has admitted that something just snapped, but he didn’t threaten anyone with violence.

Now he will have to stay in Britain to answer for his charges until September. Rumors of pushing have also surfaced, but Bale is denying the allegations. He stands firm in his position affirming that he didn’t touch either his sister or mother.
