Yesterday I went to meet some friends at Wet Republic at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas’ first “Ultra Pool.”

Here’s a strange pair! (I couldn’t resist) Avril Lavigne and Alli Sims, Britney Spears‘ cousin and confidant come walking in together. I know that Avril comes here a lot, but it just surprised me to see them together.

They shared one of the awesome “Bungalows” that Wet Republic has available. Each has its own “private” dipping pool. Ummm, Okay…

I was there writing some songs with my friend Pershing Wells, who flew in for the weekend from Louisiana. We have been asked to come up with a few tunes for an independent film to be entered at The Sundance Film Festival. His jaw dropped.

Vegas is getting hotter and hotter, and I don’t mean just the weather. This is “THEEEE” place to be.

PS… Little Guy Starkman from Jerry’s Deli got p.o.ed about me blogging about how cheap he and his father Ike are, heee heee heee. Why does that make me laugh so hard?

Also, I’m now going to Dr. Garry Lee to get my botox shots. He’s in Henderson. Henderson/Las Vegas, same thing. It’s a posh part of Las Vegas. He gives a mean shot! But now everyone where I ride my horse thinks my husband is punching me in the eyes, so I have to give it up.

Either I tell them I’m getting the botox or my husband’s a fiend. If you knew my husband you would know he’s as gentle as a lamb. He’s a famous DJ here in town. Everyone knows him so I have to come clean about the botox. I don’t like spilling these secrets, lol.

I hate giving away a good botox connection, but I just can’t help it. It just makes me laugh so hard I can’t stand it. Guess I won’t be getting an appointment at Dr. Garry Lee’s any time soon. ROFL!
