Uma Thurman, who played the psycho sword-wielding mom in the Kill Bill movies, has just admitted that she is taking another chance on marriage. Financier and Swiss mulitmillionare Arpad Busson, AKA Arki, proposed to Uma and popped a HUGE 8-plus carat ring on her finger. This will be her third try at marriage with the first to Gary Oldman and the second to cheater Ethan Hawke. Uma has two kids with Ethan and Arki has two with Elle McPherson, together they have their own mini Brady Bunch.

Thursday night Uma took her ring and fiancé out on the town to Elton John’s big White Tie and Tiara benefit. The party couple also attended the 90th birthday party for Nelson Mandela in London.

Arki presented Thurman with an engagement ring so big “she can’t fit it through the sleeve of her coat,” a friend said. “All the ladies’ eyes were buggin’ out,” A source close to the couple reported that “it’s the most beautiful piece I have ever seen, Arki did a wonderful job”.

The couple met last summer and have made a long distance work for them. Uma is New York based and Arki is based in London. Not an easy task. I wish them both the best and a long and happy life…and a lot of insurance on that giant sparkler around Uma’s finger.
