Mary J. Blige Saintly Purchase

Mary J. Blige is a sweetheart. Last week, Blige was shopping at the Diane von Furstenberg store. When she noticed a girl with a problem at the register.
An insider said, “The girl had a dress on hold that she loved, and the bill was $900. She thought it was only $500, and she couldn’t afford it.” Blige told the saleswoman, “Go get the girl. I want to pay for the balance on the dress.”
The woman at first refused Bilge’s kind offer, but accepted in the end after the singer told her “I know what it’s like to want something and not be able to have it. I insist.” The woman offered to send Blige a check for the balance, but Blige refused saying “Just enjoy it. I’m blessed, so let me do this.”
While this shows Blige in a wonderful light I can’t help but wonder about the woman who wanted the dress. How could you put a dress on hold and not notice that the price was $900 and not $500? Was it on the wrong rack or the 9 look like a 5? Either way it is nice to see celeb acting like a human and not a spoiled child.
