Jessica Simpson Mistaken for Carrie Underwood
Oh snap! Jessica Simpson was burned badly, if unintentionally by an over zealous fan. Jess was in NY and heading back towards her hotel when the woman called out her.
“She said she was her number-one fan from back in the Idol days,” an eyewitness reports “Jessica smiled politely and didn’t correct her, and she started to laugh when the girl asked how she was doing since her devastating split from Chace [Crawford].”
In case you have been living under a rock, Carrie is the ex girlfriend of Simpson’s current boyfriend Tony Romo, the football player. This was after Jess wore the “Real Girls Eat Meat” t-shirt aimed at Carrie Underwood AKA PETA’s 2005 Sexiest Vegetarian. Jessica was by all accounts a good sport about the mix up and that scores points in my book. But it could be she was just distracted by a bright shiny object too.

You got to love the “Real Girls Eat Meat” shirt, although I think Carrie is much better looking than Jessica and should not care if people mistaker her for the other.
