Alicia Silverstone’s Dogs Don’t Fart

File this under Ripley’s believe it or not (pun intended), but Alicia Silverstone’s dogs don’t rip farts anymore!
Remember when Silverstone posed naked to encourage vegetarianism? That was awesome. Whether you’re an animal-rights activist, believe that meat-free lifestyles combat global warming, or just enjoy attractive women in the nude, there was something to be excited about.
Now the veggie-loving celeb is extending her eating habits to the animals she cares about — namely her dogs.
To any pet owner who’s watched their pooch salivate at the scent of bacon, this may seem counter-intuitive. (After all, dogs are supposed to eat meat, right?) But apparently this alternative diet doesn’t harm Fido in the slightest — and, in fact, it has some surprising benefits.
Alicia recently told TV host Graham Norton that:
“All four of my dogs are vegan, they don’t fart anymore!”
That is simply freaking incredible.

That’s great for her, but the poor dogs…carnivores are meant to eat meat. This is always a source of much wank on the internet, but it stands to reason that dogs need to eat bloody flesh. It’s not pretty, but it’s nature.
Then again, I just had a nice rare steak for dinner, so maybe I’m biased.

a vegetaarian diet can keep your alive longer. If they take to the food, good for them.
Eating meat is primitive. An intelligent species doesn’t kill for food, if dogs in nature had a choice, they wouldn’t do it either. Dogs are peacefull animals. I know many dogs who are vegan and their blood levels are in top shape. No, not every dog cares for bacon, believe it or not.

It reminds me when my girlfriend said she did not fart. Me thinks someone doth protest too much.

Show me a dog that won’t eat bacon or kick some ass and I will volunteer to come put it out of its misery. An intelligent species doesn’t kill for food. Which intelligent species are you talking about. What fuckin planet are you from. Are you referring to deer & cows. The most intelligent species on this planet kill to eat.
