Kristin Davis is a Recovering Alcoholic

Kristin Davis, one of the stars of “Sex in the City,” is recovering alcoholic. After being sent over “many a Cosmo” in restaurants she still has the power to say no. Her likable character Charlotte downs them like candy in a yummy looking glass.
“But I’m a recovering alcoholic,” Davis tells the new issue of Health magazine. “I’ve never hid it, but I’ve been sober the whole time I’ve been famous, so it wasn’t like I had to go to rehab publicly. I get sent Cosmos. I never drink them.”
You have to hand it to Kristin she has been sober for eighteen years! Kristin was pretty much a wild child in her twenties, but her thirties were amazing. With the success of her hit show Sex in the City with Sarah Jessica Parker. Way to go Kristin! This is why I am a not a fan of the word addiction. To me…it is a made up word that does not apply to cosmos or brownies.

I seen Kristin on a late night show and had so much respect for her for admitting that she was a recovering alcoholic. This is one classy lady.
