Toni Braxton Hospitalization

Toni Braxton suffered from chest pains Monday night before her show in Las Vegas. She was forced to cancel her Tuesday night concert at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino after a bout of her pericarditis sent her to the hospital. Braxton normally puts on a show 5 days a week for eager fans. Her live show entitled ““Toni Braxton: Revealed” has been a feature in for the Flamingo since 2006.
The singer has spoken in public about her heart condition, pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart.
“I found out about five or four years ago” the artist told PEOPLE in February. “I’ve also been diagnosed with hypertension.”
The singer has been an adamant supporter of the Go Red campaign and she is the current spokeswoman for the American Heart Association. The hotel was gracious enough to send wishes of a quick recovery and “ are looking forward to her return at the end of the week.”
