Most Eligible Men According to OK!

The magazine picked the most eligible bachelors of celebrity status. Their list surprised me. Each and everyone of them is overloaded with issues, emotional baggage or immaturity. Three of the most poisonous problems that can plague a relationship and doom any possible long term loves.

Number one on the list was Chace Crawford. Adorable fellow. Great eyes, fantastic hair and well groomed. Never mind that my gaydar goes into overdrive when the guy hits my screen, we can put that aside for now. The real issue is that he just broke up with Carrie Underwood via text message. Clearly he is not ready for a relationship by any means. If one of the most beautiful and talented women in the world can’t keep his interest, no one will. He is a walking package of all three of the aforementioned problems.

Ryan Gosling hit second place. Understandably this man has a quite drool factor thanks to “The Notebook.” But remember ladies he is an actor who he is after he clocks out from a set is a different person. In addition to the fantasy of the ultimate romantic, he still carries a torch for his ex. Rachel McAdams still has his heart and probably always will. Emotional baggage by the truck loads. Same concept with number 3 on their list. Ryan Phillippe is a walking ball of hotness, but again the ex still has his heart and he couldn’t even manage to be faithful to Reese Witherspoon.

John Mayer is a pretty man sitting at number 4, but I foresee him hitting a breaking point. He is starting to enter the realms of dark and twisty. This is not the happy-go-lucky guy that screams mature. Mayer is little lost little boy in a man’s body. Issues, issues and more issues combined with the immaturity and possibly gay tendencies are not ideal in a mate. (P.S. if he was gay that would be fantastic and I would be proud of him for finding the courage to come on out of the closet.)

Emile Hirsch lands at number 5. Not too shabby for an up and comer. However, the problem is just that. Right now, he is career driven. His priority will be making his name mainstream. He will need constant reassurance and will choose his path without too much regard to you. Much like Tyson Beckford at slot 6. Gorgeous from head to toe, but trying to break into acting. He is a known “player” according to his family. Plain and simple, he is hot and he knows it. Shia LaBeouf is in the same pool. Fresh to the scene his goal is to find Ms. Right Now, not Mrs. Right Forever. Maybe this is why he is at the bottom of the list.

“I’m just dating and messing around,” Shia says. “I’m 21 years old [so I'm] doing the 21-year-old thing.”

I know, I know…I don’t personally know any of these guys. With the exception of meaningless rendezvous with one or two of them, I wouldn’t be putting my eggs in any of their baskets.
