Julia Roberts Hates Deodorant

By Cara | April 25, 2008

While on Oprah, Julia admitted to never wearing deodorant. Why doesn’t this woman appreciate good hygiene? Remember the UK premiere of “Notting Hill” and she raised her arm to reveal a pit afro? This isn’t Vietnam…we have rules here.

“I don’t actually use deodorant. It has just never been my thing. Mid-day at work I freshen up.”

Oprah was stunned and couldn’t stop giggling over the thought of Julia being a dirty girl. She then asked why she didn’t use it and Julia had great defense.…

“I don’t know why. I just don’t”

I don’t care who you are. A-list, no list or Jesus…wear deodorant. Not your thing? WTF? Surfing and sobriety are habits that are optional….not deodorant!

Geez, you sure are uptight. If Julia Roberts or anyone else doesn’t want to shave or wear deodorant, don’t worry about it. Not everyone wants to be a synthetic human.

I can’t wear deodorants or anti-perspirants as I get rashes from them all. I also “freshen up” during the day and I’m fine. No one has ever told me that I need Deodorant or I smell bad! If Julia Roberts wants to be “all natural” then I say “so what” as she’s not hurting anyone and I doubt she stinks as well. :)

Actually, no, we don’t have “rules” here. She can go au naturale if she pleases. Sobriety is optional, but deodorant is not? Strange priorities.
