Here’s Duffy‘s new music video for her single, ‘Mercy‘.


MTV Buzzworthy reports,

“Comparisons between Amy Winehouse and 24-year-old Welsh singer-songwriter Duffy go together like Velveeta and shell mac. But Amy Winehouse’s horn-flanked Mark Ronson productions are intentionally post-modern.

However, watch Duffy’s “Mercy” video with your eyes closed, and you might actually mistake that voice for Aretha Franklin’s. Open them, and you’ve got a Dusty Springfield dead ringer. We’re hooked”

I am discusted at the latest video of Duffy. In the background are two men dancing while on fire.

Who are these people who think up such things.

Children want to be like their idols and the fact that Duffy is quite happy for this to be on her video just beggers belief.

I think it should be BANNED.

I don’t think these pop stars and anyone in the limelight realize something they say or do can have a profound effect on children.
