Conner Cruise, 13 year old son of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, is making his first film. Following in his Dad’s tiny footprints, Conner will star with Will Smith in the drama Seven Pounds. Conner is playing Smith as a teenager with a very small role. Woody Harrelson and Rosario Dawson also are set to costar in this Columbia Picture film. (Conner had to try out for the role yeah we were all worried that Tom Cruise’s kid wouldn’t get the role. Real nail bitter there.)

“Tom is so proud of Connor,” says a source. “He’s proud of him for really doing this on his own.”

Dakota Fanning and Lindsay Lohan had better pull up there socks and watch out a new batch of teenagers is on the job, and they have pull. Between Demi Moore’s kid, Will Smith’s kid and now Tom Cruise’s kid there will be no jobs for anyone else. Tom is said to be VERY proud of Conner. So watch out for your couches America you know how Tommy Boy gets around couches.
