The CMT Music Awardswere last night. The elite of the country scene were all gathered to together to hand out awards. Like MTV Music Awards but with chaps and cowboy hats. Nicole Kidman joined hubby Keith Urban at the awards with her barely there baby bump.

Miley Cyrus let her dad come with her and further sponge a second wind of 15 minutes of fame off her. They hosted the awards show and also took the stage together and sang “Ready, Set, Don‘t Go.” Awwww. The punch line of the entire show was about Billy Ray Cyrus riding his daughter’s coattails. It was amusing…because it is true.

Snoop Dog even showed up. He looked like sort of space cowboy, yet somehow totally appropriate. Absolutely the highlight.
