American Idol- Michael Johns Cut

What the hell!? Michael Johns was kicked off American Idol Tuesday? Let me get my head around this… Kristy Lee Cook is still there but Johns is gone? There goes the AI drool factor. Not to mention the man can sing. Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado were in the bottom three with Johns and Mercado was the favorite to get the boot.
Randy Jackson used his stand by gripe about pitch problems and Simon Cowell called him a “wannabe-ish” rock star impersonator. Paula Abdul was the bright spot saying that Johns “Sounds as good as you look…you were unbelievable” Johns gave an outstanding performance of Areosmith’s “Dream On”.
Ryan Seacrest said “last year on ‘Idol Gives Back’ we didn’t eliminate anyone at this stage of the competition. Tonight we’re going to say goodbye to Michael Johns.”
Who would believe that Michael Johns would be gone and Kristy Lee Cook would still be prancing around. What is the world coming to when this happens? I am watching for a star in the east because this qualifies as a miracle in my book.
