Vanity Fair Funny Girls Cover Photos

Annie Leibovitz works her magic once again. Instead of making a cracked out Lindsay Lohan look good for a spread in Vogue, she is utilizing her talent to poke fun at the strung out star. Jenna Fisher does her best Lindsay doppelganger while Sarah Silverman is a great Amy Winehouse stand-in. The “Queens of Comedy” are ruling the April issue of Vanity Fair.

Next Tuesday you can pick up the featured mag that gives a nod to funny women. Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Sandra Bernhard, Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig join Wanda Sykes, who is pictured as Lil’ Kim, in the issue.

The ladies remind themselves daily that women in comedy hasn’t always been an easy street. Lucille Ball and Helen Fielding were among the few women who paved the way for future female comedians. Sara is one of the few who can pull off the crude humor with panache. Girls in the comedy world has become more accepted and welcomed.
