Congrats are in order for Sennia Miller and Rhys Ifan. But there is that old cliché, third time is the charm. Ifan proposed three times and Miller said OK.. Rhys (blessed by a lucky star) first proposed by asking her to “marry the misfit” in Welsh, second time hid a ring in a pile of gifts at her 26th birthday party.

If you don’t know just who this Welsh guy is, you are not alone. But you might remember him as the weird roommate, Spike, from Notting Hill. (Yeah you remember him. He hit every branch as he fell down the ugly tree. He is a Rod Stewart and Sloth from the Goonies‘ love child. Well, maybe not that bad, but you get the idea.)

Ifans’ mum, Beti-Wyn Evans, revealed she’s amazed. She is thrilled for the future divorce settlement at the thought of getting Miller as her daughter-in-law. Momma Ifans says that the happy couple are checking out houses in Wales so Rhys can be closer to Mum.

She said: “They adore each other and I am so pleased for them. They make a fantastic couple. We think she is lovely, absolutely fantastic.”

I say Mozzle toff! Love is blind and this proves it. Eh, I shouldn’t be so hard on him. He must have a gigantic…bank account and a big….sense of humor.
