Ryan Phillippe Almost Chose a Military Career

One of the world’s hottest men made a career/life altering decision. It was either play the first gay teen on a soap opera or go fight in the Gulf War. If it wasn’t for the role of Billy Douglas on One Life to Live we might have ended up without Reese and Ryan’s tale.
“I went into a recruitment office around the time of the first Gulf War and my friend, Jason, who went with me, ended up signing up and going over there and I just took the T-shirt and went to New York to be an actor. I didn’t have the best grades and we didn’t have a lot of money, so it (the military) was one of the options.”
I know that we should hate him for cheating on the lovely Miss Witherspoon, but look at how pretty he is! Check out the trailer below for Stop-Loss. It opens next Friday and I will be there.
Now that I think about it….this is like the Mr. and Mrs. Smith scenario of the end the Pitt Aniston relationship. Hmmmm conflicted…ok…so I will boycott until it hit’s the dollar theaters.

I had good grades, support from my family (i.e., funds for college), and the drive to succeed - but I still considered the military as an “option” merely for the fact that I love my free country.
Fuck Ryan for his liberal, stupid thinking.
