Beverly Hills, 90210 Returns Along With Family Guy Spin-off
By Cara | March 13, 2008
GASP! What did we the tv loving public do to deserve this? The CW is going to be subjecting it’s viewers to an Aaron Spelling teen soap spin-off. The man behind the show is non other than “Veronica Mars” creator Rob Thomas. The original creator, Darren Star, has nothing to do with this hot mess in the making.
Instead of a “Veronica Mars” spin-off as originally planned, we will be forced to sit through second attempt at Beverly Hills angst filled drama. While I am rolling my eyes at the thought of a new version of Tory Spelling winning a hot body/ugly face contest, Fox answers my prayers with a “Family Guy” spin-off. The plot will revolve around the shows token black character Cleveland Brown. The show, tentatively titled “Cleveland,” is in the early stages of development along with a “Prison Break” themed show centering around a woman’s prison.
Why they picked Cleveland to start another installment of fart joke soaked entertainment I am not sure. I am just happy that Fox is providing further entertainment to entice my crude humor preference. Come on…Stewie and his “sexy parties.” Genius. Pure genius.
