Kirstie Alley Quits Jenny Craig

By Cara | February 15, 2008

It just won’t be the same Jenny Craig ads without Kirstie Alley trying to be likeable and pretending to care. After being picked out of the gutter by Jenny Craig, Alley is stepping down as the weight loss campaign’s spokeswoman. A rep for the program assures the world that Kirstie is still on the program and hasn’t just fallen off the wagon.

Kirstie Alley Quits Jenny Craig

“Although Kirstie will not appear in future advertising endeavors for us, she does remain on Jenny Craig’s maintenance program and is confident that our program has helped her incorporate positive lifestyle changes that should last a lifetime. You’ll start see a new campaign with a new celebrity client emerge, in 2008. One that promotes health with Queen Latifah.”

Translation…we snagged us some real celeb talent and canned that Scientology brainwashed F-lister. I don’t see why she needed Jenny in the first place. Why didn’t Xenu come down from his mountain and suck the doughnut weight from her with his super powers?
