Nicole Richie Feeling “a little fat” but Happy With Post-Baby Body

Nicole Richie, who once gained pop-culture prominence for her fashion choices, super-thin frame and media documented relationships seems to have taken a different route for 2008… a completely different route.
The socialite turned mother, who recently gave birth to daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden with fiance and Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, recently revealed her healthy body-image thoughts, shattering perceptions of her so-called “need to be skinny.”
Feeling “a little fat”, but happy with her baby-body pounds, Richie even goes as far as to completely embrace her newly curvacious phsyique. According to FOX NEWS.com, the starlet “just wants to focus on being a mom,” instead of sweating it out on the treadmill in a desperate plea to shed the baby weight like many Hollywood mothers before her. “Perhaps she feels a little fat compared to how she was a year ago, but all her friends and family think she looks beautiful. I think Nicole quite likes those extra curves.”
Good for Nicole. At least one of the one time size-zero starlets figured out that skinny, just aint inny.
