It seems every time I open up my feed reader another celebrity is backing Obama for president. Pete Wentz attended an Obama Fundraiser in Chicago last night. Who knew that Obama attracted the boys-who-wear-makeup crowd?

You didn’t make up your “mind” about supporting future President Obama because of celebrities who are supporting him. You are against Obama because he stands for everything you are against like upholding the Constitution, remembering that a President’s first charge is the security and protection of his/her citizens - to guard their safety, economy, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech. To support the rights of workers and to make sure that those who are smallest among us are treated with as much consideration as the biggest among us. This is the American Way when we are at our best. Your goose-stepping anti-Consitution gang of thugs has proven what the ratpublicons do when given power - lie, cheat, steal, and destroy. Just look at our economy, our credibility as a nation, the lies that amount to treason that began the war in Iraq. Warren Buffet is the richest man in the world because he understands economics, he started from the bottom up.
Sure he can support McCain and get tax cuts, but it’s not about money, it’s about a stable economics.

Im surprised so many people give a rats ass what these celebrities think. Its a wonder to me why any one gives them credit for thinking at all. Dont forget they read scripts for a living. they make millions and millions of dollars for doing a job a pet store parrot can do. I think for myself in my job and my politics. I think that its awesome that so many celebrities back obama.Its commendable that they wish to speak up even though they may alienate fans. But people who MATTER r doing it as well like Warren Buffet(hello)hillary clinton, former presidents and ted kennedy. I wish there were no political parties(George Washingston was right)and people voted based off of issues. I also wish politics werent so dirty..but thats a dream world. First of all, let me say that I agree about not having political parties. I vote for morals, knowledge, & leadership. Everybody says look at the 8 years… Hello… 2 years ago I could afford to put gas in my truck. All this economic turmoil has happened in the last few years. People can’t pay their bills because it cost $300 for groceries & $150 for gas! That’s why people can’t afford their houses. Also, those money hungry loan sharks give out faulty loans to people who can’t keep a job for more than a few months! My husband, father, grandfather, etc work hard all their lives to get by. 7 days a week 12 hours a day! I think its time to do away with food stamps and goverment housing! Make these people work for their food or starve and guess what!! No unemployment!! I’m tired of people sayin unemployment is high. Send these illegal aliens home and our americans will have jobs! Also, I am voting for mccain! He has more experience than obama ever could! I am against abortion and for the death penalty! Forget all this talk about womens rights! What about that baby! If you don’t want it, there are millions of people who can’t have children. Let them adopt!! You are a murder and a joke if you ever had an abortion! If isn’t not a baby, a life. Then you aren’t pregnant, there would be no heartbeat! And the death penalty, if I’m not mistakin, the bible puts the law in the governments hands. U should have the same comin as you gave out! I like how people point their fingers and say that if Obama was white, the REPUBLICANS would vote for him. NOT TRUE! im a Latin-American, and I’m all for McCain! Democrats don’t understand what young Republicans have to go through day to day (especially in the Bay Area). I was threatened this week JUST FOR BEING A REPUBLICAN! Actually, I want nothing for free. I just had surgery today and I am resting rather nicely in my fiance’s half million dollar home. So to assume that I am in crucial need or that I want Obama in office to get my free handout is absolutely ignorant. Yet, another assumption with no proof. BUT, isn’t that the very standing and way of thinking of most republicans. Yes, I am very informed on both parties. When I see something negative on either candidate, I investigate on my own. I make my own determination of what the truth is. Instead of trying the scare tactics and throughing out accusations after accusations I research to better inform myself.
I have many friends. I don’t live in a box. I have many associates that have very different opinions and live their lives differently than I do. Does it mean that I agree with them, whether it be sending your child to a private school, if they are jewish, unmarried with children or yes, I even have a brother that doesn’t believe in God? I have another brother proudly serving in the Army (his wife is a substitute sunday school teacher), a brother that is GAY, I even have two half siblings that are German. (one is married to a very nice Jewish girl) Does this mean because I hang out with my brother I am gay? No. Does it mean that my German Siblings are Natzis? NO. Does it mean that I don’t believe in God? NO.
So trying to smear a person because they associate with someone from very a different set of beliefs is just plain wrong. One of the best qualities that Obama has is the ability to bring different people from different backgrounds together for one common goal. To UNITE the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. We have 305,545,571 people in America. We all have different backgrounds, different upbringings, we all have different beliefs and values. BUT, we all are Americans, none more important than the other.
It took me a long time to make my decision. I stand by it.
BTW, did you know that as VP Ms. Pallin will be in charge of the Senate? Perhaps, you should hope that our possible future Vice President take a few internet classes on our Government and her place and job responsibilities if elected!

Your actually going to compare your families diversity to Obama’s associations. Are you kidding me. Do your family members hate America? Do you have family members that are Domestic Terrorist? Did you are any of the diverse members of your family attend a church for 20 years that preached about hate? This is aboout his Judgement not about his diverse friends. I don’t know about you, but i don’t have any friends that hate this country, or that were unrepented domestic terrorist. I don’t have friends that hate Jewish people, or Isreal for that matter. These are very serious issues and to say that it’s not a big deal is pretty frightening. I am pretty sick of having people like you speak so bad about Conservative Republicans. To call me shameless, arrogent and ignorant is probably a reflection on how you feel about yourself. I have 2 jobs not 1 but 2. I have a daughter that i am putting through a private school because the public schools were i live are the worse in the nation (all run by Democrats) YOUR PARTY. I am not sure why you want Obama so badly as president, but i assume that your fiance does pretty well since your living in a half a million dollar home. I guess he doesn’t mind spreading his wealth. I do however mind sharing my hard earned money!

one is most disturbed over the policies of Jonathan Mccain and as a British citizen one feels that some of these issues may effect our noble country. If any of you yanks have sense then you will vote Obama, an absolutely spiffing top-notch gentleman.

Obama is the one the US needs. He’s got good, fresh ideas that are usefull in the 21st century and he can help America to go far. An extra is also to have a young, sympathic and lively president, which can’t be said of McCain at all, and also not of Palin.

Kylie, is Obama upholding the Constitution? He’s not worried about protecting the American people, only about downgrading us in front of foreign crowds.
